Today’s online learning resource spotlight is Zearn. I was able to gather information from their website.
Zearn is an independent, non-profit publisher and software developer. They developed a K-5 math paper and software-based curriculum that uses engagement and differentiated instruction to transform math learning. They also offer professional development, school and district accounts in addition to the individual teacher and student accounts. Zearn is currently free to individual teachers and homeschooling families.
Zearn Math curriculum supports rigorous math learning by using the combination of small group teacher instruction and personalized digital lessons that allow students to move at their own pace. The lessons are aligned to the Common Core standards that are based on EngageNY and Eureka Math.
They have videos that provide information and details on how to use their program effectively. Schools and districts have the opportunity to purchase this program for a fee.
